Key Responsibilities
- •Evaluate patients’ strength, coordination, endurance, mobility, and self-care abilities
- •Assess home environments and recommend safety modifications or adaptive equipment
- •Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
- •Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills
- •Fabricate splints and train patients in adaptive, prosthetic, and orthotic use
- •Communicate patient progress with physicians and care teams
- •Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- •Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care plans and progress
- •Participate in care coordination, case conferences, and discharge planning
