Home Health Aide (HHA) — Personal Care

About This Role

Key Responsibilities

• •Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• •Assist patients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
• •Follow individualized care plans developed by the supervising RN and report changes in patient condition
• •Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• •Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families

Skills & Competencies

• •Activities of daily living (ADL) assistance and personal care
• •Safe patient handling and mobility assistance
• •Compassionate patient communication and family support

Qualifications

• Active Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in the state of FloridaRequired
• Completion of a state-approved HHA training program (minimum 75 hours)Required
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)Required
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's licenseRequired
